The Real Deal
When and how did you become involved in commercial real estate? I became involved in real estate in 1985. A friend referred me to Jackson-Cross. What has been the most challenging project to win so far? My first significant tenant rep assignment in 1986 - The Board of Pensions of The Presbyterian Church (USA), for 100,000 S.F. What project have you enjoyed working on the most? 1700 Market Street while competing with One Liberty Place as it was being built. If you could change one thing about the current real estate market, what would it be? More professionalism in the brokerage community, better building tours and responsibility in follow up, just to name a few. What do you like most about your job? I love the team/locker room atmosphere of the office. If you decided to change careers, what would you be doing instead? I would probably become a fly fishing guide in the Bahamas.
