What's cool about it: The bullet-shaped design of this 590 ft. structure is not only unique, but also environmentally friendly. Approximately 40% of the year, its aerodynamic form creates air pressure differentials that move the air around, which reduces energy consumption.
What's uncool about it: London locals hate the design because it doesn't fit in with the beautiful stone buildings in the surrounding architecture. It is also referred to as "the gherkin" by tour groups and tour books.
