Nutrisystem, Inc. Headquarters
Location: 600 Office Center Drive, Ft. Washington, PA
Size: 120,000 SF
Nutrisystem, Inc. was poised for the next phase of growth - to catapult its image from a leading weight loss product supplier to a sophisticated e-commerce corporation. The new executive team led by Joe Redling, CEO, engaged Meyer Design to design a headquarters that was reflective and supportive of the new brand and one that captured the culture of the company - "people working together helping other people."
Meyer identified the key components that comprised the Nutrisystem brand and strategically located them to enhance the visitor (brand) or employee (culture) experience.
- The test kitchen was moved front and center and located next to the first floor reception.
- The state-of-the-art call center, the nucleus of the company, was given its own floor with plenty of daylight.
- A town hall space was created that can accommodate company-wide meetings or be divided by movable partitions into smaller spaces for fitness classes or collaborative areas.
Meyer Architects enhanced the exterior of the building and created a new entrance by adding a two-story atrium, a third floor balcony and metal sun shade.
By bringing the entire Nutrisystem team under one roof, Meyer Design designed a space that is inspiring, entrepreneurial and reflective of an e-commerce giant.
"Meyer provided the guidance in making sure that its concepts and design fit seamlessly
with our vision while bringing everyone together from multiple sites on a tight schedule.
With Tactix, Bala, Norwood and CBRE, this was one of the most efficient and
cost-effective projects I have been involved with and hearing the positive comments
from our employees and visitors every day reinforces the success of this project."

GREEN PROJECT- EXISTING 1st
151 S. Warner Road
151 S. Warner Road, a Liberty Property Trust building, was selected as Best Green Project - Existing at the 2010 Philadelphia Business Journal's annual Best Real Estate Deals. This is the 4th year that Meyer Design has been involved in a recognized project!
George Wilson, AIA LEED AP, accepted the award on behalf of Jim Lutz, SVP, Liberty Property Trust. This project, built within six months, garnered a LEED-EB Silver certification and includes sustainable highlights such as 94% of all construction waste diverted from landfills, 90% of the existing building's structural components reused and over 20% water use reduction in the building.
"It's terrific to be a part of a winning project
especially one that demanded a united team
and fast-track schedule. However the best
recognition is the satisfaction of the
Liberty Property Trust team and the tenant."
